Real names Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy is prone to violent tempers as revealed when he harassed a female attendant in Port harcourt and was once linked to a criminal gang in the UK where he has been banned from entering for the next 15 years because he violated rules and came to Nigeria after his release from prison for being involved in gang activity that led to his incarceration.
His private life is not only troubled, his business life is as well. Sources say Burna Boy is having a rift with his label Aristokrat records under which he released his hit song Yawa Dey,run my race and debut album life.
We hear he is about to quit the label and has moved out of the Lekki phase 1 home provided for him by the label reasons being that the label is now concentrating efforts on its new artistes Pucado, Kamar, Ozone and Mojeed.
We hear he intends to ditch Aristokrat records to form a new label Burna boy goons (BBG) with an announcement already made on Twitter even though he deleted the tweet much later.
We hear his business is beginning to suffer as telecoms giant Globacom who has him as ambassador is unwilling to renew his contract after it expires and his new management reportedly flunked a deal with Guinness asking for a 200% increase on proposed sign on fees leading to him being dropped from the deal.
However it turns out, we hope Burna boy makes his move right so his career doesn't plummet as fast as it rose.
